Okay folks, so you may have noticed me slacking off here.
No need to remind me, I'm well aware. *neener neener*
The reality of it is - I'm involved in too many things to keep up.

So for the time being, this page will be officially UNDER CONSTRUCTION until at least the end of S4. For that I apologize to those of you who have been reading here, but fear not, what ends up here is first posted at www.losttv-forum.com - so you won't miss any of my ramblings. :)

Hopefully, when I'm back up and running here, I'll be back in FORCE with lotsa caps and maybe even a redesign of the page.....who knows. ;)

S4E09 "The Shape of Things to Come"

- Ben lies to Sayid about how he got off island, says he used Elizabeth.

S4E08 "Meet Kevin Johnson"

Lotsa notes on this one.

- "No more secrets" - well its about time!!

- "I'm here to die" - based on the preview "someone will die", I called misdirection with this one.

- MAP MAP MAP!!!! And a TEMPLE Dharma logo!!!

- TIMELINE Question - how long between Michael leaving the Island and the Freighter arriving?

- LIBBY in a dream!! Kinda like Charlie appearing to Hurley (not this time, but later when we see her on the boat). The Island is much more powerful than we know.

- Walt is OFF ISLAND living with Michael's mom (who also was in "The Lady Killers" ) and we actually SEE WALT so there's no argument there.

- Mike sold Jin's watch!! Oh no!!

- "How about for an old friend" - its Mr. Friendly!!

- so Mike told Walt about killing Ana and Libby.....

- "You cant kill yourself, the Island won't let you"

- Hotel Earl

- Mike sees the Find815 report, turns to the Ben-side. I'd say "dark side" but I really don't know who the "good guys" are anymore....

- Tom kisses his male friend. Great. Thanks for the ensuing headache TPTB. Not like we didn't put this together from his "you're not my type, Kate" comment, but lets just rub it in. Nah, I'm sure you folks won't go nuts with this one.

- WIDMORE FAKED THE CRASH - Tom shows PROOF to Mike. Time to bump my thread in the TLE forum.

- hahaha - they scratched out the KAHANA's name - as if we didn't know it already.

- Miles knows Kevin isn't "Kevin".

- TIMELINE Question again - when could Tom have been gone? What was happening On-Island at the time?

- I'd bet the "innocent" freighties are the team of 4 from "Confirmed Dead".

- Karl dies. But I'll bet my bottom dollar that Danielle is NOT DEAD. Not without a FB eppy. Simply put - NO WAY IN HELL. Period. Nuff Said.

- "Wait, I'm Ben's Daughter!!" - holy crap what a way to end!!! WHO WAS SHOOTING AT THEM?!?!?!?!??

And the "preview" confirmed the O6 as Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, and AARON. So that's that.

S4E07 "Ji Yeon"

Now I'm NOT going to post all of my "notes" from the episode here, simply because I don't want to look like an idiot again - thank you very much TPTB! >:-(
But here's the little I'm keeping intact:

Good eppy, not great, but still LOST.

First round notes:

- what was the book Regina was reading?

- HAHAHA poor Jin got taxi-jacked and his panda stolen!

- DAMN!!! Juliet tells Jin about Sun's affair.

- the music during Bernard's "karma" speech was just AWESOME.

- okay, so was that Regina juming into the water? Gettin Zoe Bell for what, 3 lines and then a mysterious death? I hope that wasn't her....

- so the cap'n spills the beans.....but "dont trust the captain".....oh well....still sounded like some solid info to me....

- YAY its Michael. FINALLY. Oh, excuse me...."Kevin Johnson". (neener neener)

- Where is WALT?

- you suck, TPTB. Jin's "FB" was totally pointless other than to trick us. I'll forgive you this one cause I just know the rest of the season is going to ROCK!! :D

Starting with the mid season mini cliffhanger and what did they say in the preview....someone is going to....DIE!?!?!? Oh no!!

S4E06 "The Other Woman"

- "Ben is exactly where he wants to be" - says Smokie/Harper - oh boy do I really wanna see a BEN FB eppy now....I wanna see what happened between him finding Richard as a kid and the Purge. How he knows about Jacob, etc.

- what was Goodwin's chemical burn really from?

- MAP MAP MAP MAP MAP!!!!!!!

- "its very stressful being an other" - "this didn't have a number on it, did it?" - omg both those lines there were just GREAT!

- "I guess I'll have to show you" - that made me yell.

- when it comes back from commercial after the above Ben line, its a really great shot.

- BLAM-O. CHARLES WIDMORE. Just freakin BLAMMMMMMMMM-O!!!!

- YAY a mention of Zach and Emma the tailie kids!!

- How did Ben "know" Goodwin would die? My guesses - either the time travel thing himself, or the time travel thing from Jacob - the latter being the guess I like more.

- so Locke knows about the man on the boat (Michael, as if we all hadn't figured it out yet) now.....

And come on ABC - "a face you never thought you'd see again!!" - really, the same one whose name you've been showing in the credits since S4E01?
Its all good though, cause this show still ROCKS THE WORLD!!!

S4E05 "The Constant"

One of the finest episodes to date without a doubt.

- HOLY CRAP!!!!! HANSO's BLACK ROCK JOURNAL purchased by CHARLES WIDMORE!!!!! That means that WIDMORE'S people "found" the crash of Flight 815 while looking for the Black Rock - listen to Ep2 where the rover guys talk about the coordinates from their "employers journal" or something to that effect.

- "THEY've been researching it. I know about the Island" - WHAT!?!?!? OMG WHAT did she just say!?!?!?!?

S4E04 "Eggtown"

Interesting episode. I'm not too crazy about it after first watch, but maybe that's cause I got spoiled about the ending.....

First round notes:

- Philip K. Dick's "VALIS" - Nice. GO YUNG!!

- And Kate's Lawyer's name is......??? (not important obviously )

- "You just totally Scooby Doo'd me" - Great line from Hurley.

- So there's the "story" that the Oceanic 6 are giving - 8 survived crash initially, made it to deserted island in south pacific, 2 died, they almost starved, Kate is the big hero.

- What was up with that Card Trick?

- oooh....where is the Chopper???

- I'll bet that Kate slapping Sawyer and not saying goodbye is the last time they see each other before Kate gets off the Island. Though I could be waaaaay wrong too.

Not much for caps this week, so I likely won't be posting addendum notes/caps for this episode.

This weeks episode is going to be INSANE. :D

S4E03 "The Economist"

Holy freakin crap that was just INSANE.

First round notes:

- so the Freighties have "no info" about Ben, just "locate him"....yeah, and do WHAT with him once you find him??

- Sayid is one of the Oceanic 6 - 4 down, 2 to go.

- The sign on the door in the Berlin cafe was interesting. I'll see if I can snag a cap of it.

- Sayid is "corporate recruit"......and assasin. Was that a cover, or is he pullin the Richard duties of recruiting new folks to the Island for Ben now?

- YES - ASK DESMOND!!! Remember this is the guy who has flashes of the future. Yeah, most of em recently were of Charlie's death, but that's over now lets have Des see something else.

- Whoah....so Jacob's cabin DOES move around and is NOT contained by the "ash ring".

- What was Daniel's device? It seemed like an explainable device, but I have no idea what it is and am curious to know.

- but still.....the "payload" was there for Regina on the boat tracking it, but not for Dan on the Island who should've received it in real time but didn't....it was there, but it wasn't there.....kinda like "I'm dead, but I'm also here".

- HAHAHAHA!!! "The ship sent another Sawyer"

- 31 minutes off.....whoah.....*brain asplodes*

- I want caps of the books in Ben's house, as well as the name on the passport (looked like oriental characters though....if so - a PAIK CONNECTION?????)

- also was that a map of the stars in Ben's bedroom? I saw it during the Kate/Sawyer scene

- same bracelet on Elsa as on Naomi? Caps will prove yes or no me thinks.

- and oh yes, the HOLY CRAPOLI factor - Ben gets off the Island too and is apparently calling the shots still - AND is in a WAR with someone else. Anyone wanna bet its CHARLES WIDMORE?

S4E02 "Confirmed Dead"

- "I got my orders from Walt" - nice, Locke admits it, and now he wants to go to Jacob's cabin on the way to the barracks.

- This was just GREAT right here - "The bullet went in one side and out the other, if I had that kidney, I'd have been dead" - WE CALLED IT!!!! WOOHOO!!!! :D

- I'll have caps of the boy's room as soon as I possibly can. :)

- HA!!! And yet again - we were RIGHT - "Tell my sister I love her" WAS a code!!! :blinkie:

- The first of 3: "We've got people in the trees with guns on you right now" Nice one Jack....well, thanks Juliet and Sayid. ;)

- Why couldn't Miknowski come to the plane? Who is Regina?

- "We're here for Benjamin Linus" - WHY?

S4E01 "The Beginning of the End" - Addendum Notes and Caps

The first order of business was to find out who was sitting in the chair in Jacob's cabin, and whose eye popped up and scared Hurley?

The first question is easily answered.
It is Christian Shephard.

This first shot is from the extended S4 preview that has been airing on ABC:

And this next shot is what we saw in the episode "The Beginning of the End", with some brightening by me:

The second question isn't so easily answered, unfortunately. From the shot we're given, we cannot definitively say who the eye belongs to.

Also in that particular scene, as Hurley first approaches the cabin, we hear the infamous WHISPERS. I have done my very best to transcribe them. Here are the results of my work:

0:03 - (woman's voice) - we forgot....(continued...?)
0:04 - (woman's voice) - it's too late (?)
0:08 - (man's voice) - There's somebody coming

S3E22/23 "Through the Looking Glass" Addendum Notes/Caps

I didn't take that many notes on second watch cause, well, we've got 8 months to kill, right? But I'll start with one thing I caught that might clear up something:

- after Jack steals the oxycodone and is confronted by Dr Hamill, he gives the name of the woman he saved when he says "I was just checking the ARLEN charts to see how the operation went" - and Dr. Hamill also mentions her name "Mrs Arlen woke up in recovery about an hour ago..." - so we have a name for the woman that Jack saved.

Now for some caps. And there were some AWESOME shots last night:

- Jack about to jump. The pan to above Jack was really well shot:

- This is just another great shot. The waves breaking on the shore added to the scene:

- "weren't there supposed to be 3 explosions?":

- Here's the Looking Glass logo seen in the Station itself - again, no hole/clockface reading 8:15 in the bunny's neck like on Sayid's Map of the Station:

- Here's a great shot of Hurley walking away from Sawyer and Juliet (we had another great long shot coming up too):

- this was a cool find - on Ben's Map, you can see the location of the PEARL, the BARRACKS, the Radio Tower, and someplace called PASCAL FLATS (likely where the Others are camped now):

All in all it was an incredible episode, and I can't wait to tear it and every other LOST episode up over the next 8 months with all of y'all. :)

S3E22/23 "Through the Looking Glass"

First round notes:

- HAHAHA!! that beard looked so fake!! :P

- the women in TLG are being conned by Ben too. What is Ben's purpose?

- Sarah is pregnant in the future.

- MAP MAP MAP MAP MAP!!!! Temple? "Take them to the Temple" says Ben to Richard.

- there was NO HOLE in the rabbits neck in the logo for TLG that Des swam by

- "on assignment in Canada" - oh really? Doing what? For whom?

- so was the whole "runway" thing from Juliet a joke, or just the aliens part? Hmmm.....she saw the plans for whatever it was, so she knows. I think runway is a safe bet, and that is an answer as to why they were working and hauling rocks on Hydra Island. Just my 2 cents.

- I will need a cap to confirm but my brother was screaming that he saw SMOKIE behind WALT when he appeared to Locke. First we heard some WHIPSERS, then we hear and see WALT, then my bro started yelling as I was trying to write as fast as possible.

- Danielle wants to stay on the Island. Interesting.....

- WIDMORE vs HANSO? Ben knows something about Naomi's boat. I believe Ben is aligned with Alvar Hanso. Naomi might not be sent by Penelope, but Charles Widmore is still very much a suspect.

- Rousseau's first words to her daughter "will you help me tie him up?" - PRICELESS!!! What a great reunion!!!

- BAM!!! "That's for takin the kid off the raft" PAYBACK, BITCH!!! "You and I ain't done yet, Zeek, not by a long shot" - damn skippy, Sawyer!! How great was that to see!!!

- Penelope now knows that Desmond is alive, and that at least Charlie Pace survived the crash of Oceanic flight 815.

- Not Penny's Boat.....then whose is it? Her fathers? Thats my guess. How else would Naomi get the pic of Des and Pen? Unless it was something crazy like Mrs Hawking or the Monk.....

- R.I.P. Charlie Pace. That was so sad.

- BAM!!! Locke kills Naomi. Did not see that one coming. Kinda reminded me of Charlie killing Ethan.

- HOLYCRAPOMGOMGOMG - THE "Flashbacks" ARE ACTUALLY THE FUTURE!!! Nice one!!! I did NOT see that one coming at all - my jaw hit the floor!! So that sure as hell sounds like Christian Shephard is ALIVE!!!

THE BIG QUESTIONS:

- Who died in the future? What did that article that Jack ripped out say?

- Who will miss Kate cause she's gone to see Jack? Sawyer?

- Is Christian Shephard ALIVE? Did the Island bring him back to life somehow???

- WHO GETS RESCUED? WHEN? HOW? BY WHO?

S3E21 "Greatest Hits" Addendum Notes/Caps

Not much to add this week.

- nice shot of "the hike" to see the tree blow up:

- "Ben is using one of the Dharma stations to block all of the signals off the Island except for ours" says Juliet

- "there was an accident. Ben told us it was completely flooded" says Juliet about the Looking Glass Hatch. I wonder if there really WAS an accident, but Ben just lied about it being flooded and unoccupied.

- I'm trying to figure out what this portion of the Looking Glass map says. It starts with "Control Room", then 3 words I can't figure out, and the last word is also "room".

- here's a nice cap of Karl as he rows to warn the Losties:

- "Mom gave you that, it was her fathers, and his fathers before that" - so Charlie's mother's maiden name is Stratton.

- "Mom would've wanted it this way" - so is Charlie and Liam's mother dead?

- I'd just like to add that Michael Giacchino has done it again. The score for "Greatest Hits" was so well done, so powerful and moving.

S3E21 "Greatest Hits"

Amazing Episode!!!

First Round Notes:

- WOW!! Karl rowing away fast and furious with no explanation after not seeing him in how long? What a way to open!!

- YRE2OL - license plate on Driveshafts crappy van

- THE LOOKING GLASS!!! As if the underwater portion of the HYDRA wasn't payoff enough for those of us who have speculated that there was an underwater Dharma station...this....this was AWESOME!!!

- so Desmond flashed Claire and her baby being taken away on a helicopter....don't mention seeing anyone else. My spidey sense is tellin me that Desmond didn't exactly flash a RESCUE helicopter. More like a HANSO Helicopter.

- Sayid has a MAP of the LOOKING GLASS???? WHAT???? And WHY have we not heard ANYTHING about this until NOW????

- YAY!!! Rose and Bernard!!! Eat your hearts out, Rose/Bernard turned into Nikki/Paulo when the key was turned theorists!!

- "they're coming RIGHT NOW!!" - what a way to go to commercial!! I was squirming in my seat this whole eppy.

- Ben has OBVIOUSLY lost it. And Richard can see this. I have a feeling Ben's people are gonna turn on him sooner than later.

- Whoooo...Alex questions that Ben is her father!!

- there was a really nice shot (though quick) of Karl frantically rowing to the Losties camp. I'll have it in my caps post tomorrow.

- "everything has to happen at the same time" - talk about setting up a season finale!!!!!!

- DriveShaft - Dexter Stratton. Very interesting.

- I giggled when Charlie put on the special DS ring from Liam....the ONE RING.....hehehe....

- was that NADIA that Charlie saved from a mugging? I couldn't tell cause she was all wet.

- Jack is SHADY. I don't know about y'all, but I am getting a serious "DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY" vibe from him now that I've never felt before for Jack....

- Charlie and Claire's meeting during the crash night - PRICELESS.

- what an excellent way to tie the episode title in. Just AWESOME.

S3E20 "The Man Behind the Curtain" - Addendum Notes/Caps

- Ben was born 32 miles from Portland

- "there are properties on this Island that exist nowhere else on Earth. Our mission is to study these properties for the betterment of mankind, and advancement of world peace" and also to change one of the core human or environmental factors in the Valenzetti Equation.

- "most of you will be working on the mainland, but should you be assigned to zoological studies, the Pala Ferry will carry you to...*can't make out the rest*"

- when Ben calls for Tom and Richard to stop Locke from beating up Mikhail, they just sit there and do nothing. Its there that I see the look of fear in Ben's eye. The look like he might not have the control he thinks he has over these people.

- the scene with young Ben takin off his drunk father's shoes reminded me of Kate and her father (right before she exploded him )

- this is a nice shot of Ben and Annie sitting on the swingset:

- there were no Smokie sounds when Ben saw the Havid of his mother - but right before she appears the second time (on the other side of the sonar fence) - WHISPERS. First a faint male voice, then a much louder female voice, but I can't make out what it says. So - we now have connection between: The Havids, Smokie, and now the Whisperers. And now, thanks to the brilliance of rvturnage, you can see detailed transcriptions of the WHIPSERS in this scene HERE at Lost-Tv! :)

- Here are two of my favorite shots of Ben at the sonar fence:

- the fire started when Jacob freaked out is put out before Ben shakes the chair. Actually from the frame by frame, it looks like the fire is blazing in one frame and then all of a sudden out; and Locke has this look on his face like "what the hell did I just see?"

- here's my attempts at Jacob and the Eye. Note the long flowing hair on Jacob (looks different than some of the other shots I've seen so far):

- Emily and Roger - Ben's parents. Born near Portland.

- I liked the reveal of Roger Workman being Ben's father.

- APOLLO BAR!! YAY!!

- Nice. Alex gives Locke a gun. "Happy Birthday Dad".

- Ben's "mom" on Island, that was Smokie. The "hostiles" including RICHARD ALPERT seem to be in league with BOTH Smokie AND the Whispers!! Oh, and not to mention that they don't appear to age!! (at least Richard) *head asplodes*

- what did Ben cross over? Gunpowder? The "Dark Territory"? If it was gunpowder, might it be to create a fire perimeter?

- 54439, young Ben enters the code, disabling the fence and causing "THE INCIDENT".....I think.....speculation here. We didn't "see" any repurcussions of Ben turning off the fence, but the timeline is about right.

- HANSO LIFE EXTENSION PROJECT. 'nuff said.

- um....so Jacob is invisible and a telekenetic? That's kinda weak IMO. I'm sure once I know more I'll be like "oh, so that is what that was" but for now...meh.

- BEN is the last living member of the DHARMA Initiative!! Wow!!

- The PURGE!!!! Holy Crap!!!!

- Locke IS NOT DEAD. If he was dead, they would've shown him dying. Completely dead, not left still moving around in pain. The ISLAND will heal him. We'll all think he's dead, but he knows where Jacob is now, so I bet Locke comes back and saves the day.

S3E19 - "The Brig" - Addendum Notes/Caps

My apologies for the lateness of this post. Now lets get down to it....

- "we're going to a new place, well, an old place actually" says Ben to Locke. I can't wait to see where that is. Someone mentioned the 4-toed statue, or something like it, and I like that idea.

- when we see the Others setting up their tents, we are shown two women staring at Locke as they walk by; and as Locke finishes helping Cindy, she looks back at another Other couple, who also have a very similar look. You tell me, doesn't the look on these faces seem like a hopeful one? Like, "oh I really hope he is the one". This is even more apparent when Locke refuses to kill Cooper in front of everyone, but that's later. And on top of all this is Cindy's comment "don't mind them, they're just excited. We've been waiting for you."

- we see some of Ben's books in his tent. One of them is "The Oath" by John Lescroart:

- 80 nautical miles west is Naomi's company's Freighter ship. Okay, now what?

- so they sent down little robots with cameras to scan the wreckage of "flight 815" - sounds more and more like a coverup the more I hear about it. And yes, ALVAR HANSO is a man who is THAT powerful that he can get things like that done, and in short order if need be.

- what is a differential GPS grid search?

- just thinkin about this now....this is the first time Sawyer has seen the Black Rock!! He was on the raft when they went to get the dynamite. I wonder if he even knew about it....

- now the "watching Locke" scene. Just look at these faces. This was a REALLY big deal to them for Locke to kill Cooper. But why? What will happen to them if/when he does?

- "I've never seen equipment this sophisticated" says Sayid of the Satellite phone. Interesting....

- "that could only happen to someone who is extremely special" says Richard to Locke about his ability to walk again on the Island. There it is again - "Special". Walt was "special" in this same way. I really hope they tell us more about why Walt was so "special" to the Others eventually.

- here's a cap of Sawyer's file:

- I'm sorry, but if they were all dead or in HELL, Sawyer would not be gettin it on with a hotty like Kate. That, my friends, is called Heaven. ;)

- poor Locke, everyone else gets to sleep in a nice tent except for him

- Sawyer mentions Jasper, Alabama. Wasn't the letter he wrote from Tennessee (Knoxville, specifically)?? I remember caps from Season 1 where we could see the letter clearly. *is confused*

- so now not only can Sawyer go tell the camp about Juliet being a mole, he can also tell them about how Locke was a cripple and now can walk. Only a very small number of people knew about Locke - Walt, Rose, (I think) Charlie....am I forgetting anyone?

Episode 19 - "The Brig"

A good episode. Kinda on the predictable side as far as storyline for this eppy though IMO. Still, great eppy.
First round notes:

- "Don't you know where we are, John?" - nice to try to make us think he knows more than he does. Cooper is just another kitten killer. Okay, he said hell, but he thought they were dead.

- "where are you goin?"...."to take a leak"...."well, um, us too" - classic!!

- Cindy says "we've been waiting for you" - oh yeah....why??

- Ah, thank you TPTB - THE MAGIC BOX IS A METAPHOR.

- 10:15 prediction - Locke didnt take Ben, he took Cooper, and he'll turn out to be the Real "Sawyer" as many of us have thought....

- NAOMI!!! Finally!!! We can say it and I don't have to tag it anymore!!! Y'all have NO IDEA!!! NAOMI NAOMI NAOMI NAOMI NAOMI NAOMI NAOMI!!!!!!!

- Off the coast of Bali - answers question of where did they find the wreckage

- when Locke was asked to kill Cooper the first time, it seemed like the Others really wanted, almost NEEDED it to happen. The looks on their faces seemed to tell the tale.

- YAY!! Its Cooper, and not Ben!! GIMME A COOKIE!! :P

- Why does Danielle need explosives? This is a KEY. VERY IMPORTANT I think. ;)

- so Richard says the infertility experiments are a waste of time....then what is the TRUE purpose of the Others????

- BAM!! COOPER is the REAL Mr. Sawyer!! And he has to read the LETTER!! NICE!! :) For all of us who called this one - YAYAYAYAY!! :D

- what happened to Ben's last words to Juliet - "I'll see you in a week?" - its been at least 8 days, and Locke said the raid on the beach wasn't for another 3 days.....???

- "Don't tell me what I can't do, John" - damn....there it is again....

- Sawyer JABBA'd Cooper!!!!!!!

- we should tell Kate WHAT???? Come on now....how shady is that!!??

- HA!! Locke nabbed the tape recorder proving Juliet is a MOLE!!

- damn....Sun showin some of her badass self in this eppy; first tellin her father that she knows what he really does but will stay quiet if he gives her the money she asked for (blackmail), and then she threatens to have Jin's mother offed if she doesn't disappear!

- as far as the plane being found and there not being any survivors - I am in the camp that another plane was faked to look like Flight 815 and everyone was dead, so that no one would come looking for anyone on board. Too bad they don't know Penny is lookin for Desmond, who was NOT on Flight 815.

- and I'll close with a goofy cap. :P I paused the eppy to get a drink and this just happened to be where I paused it, and when I came back with my drink, I almost spit it up! :P I call it "I...I need...(finish the sentence)":

S3E17 "Catch-22" Addendum Notes/Caps

- right off the bat there is a shot as Desmond's "FlashForward" ends that totally jives with the Charlie gettin shot with the arrow and dying. Here you can clearly see CHARLIE with Jin and Hurley, holding the parachute so that Desmond can cut the parachutist down - so if in Desmond's vision, he was supposed to let Charlie die, how come he is alive and well here in this flash??:

- HAHAHA!! "Did you eat those mushrooms Jack warned us about?" ROTFLMAO!!!

- when they show the flash of the picture being taken, we are shown 2 frames of the camera that took the famous pic of Des and Penny. Any photographers know if this camera shown here is capable of making multiple pictures (at once, or later, like from a negative or something)? I would really love to know how there are now 3 copies of that pic out there when we clearly saw only one taken....

- has anyone identified the ghost story Jin was telling? Any of you Korean speakers out there?

- nice shot of the storm clouds approaching:

- "you've just spent too much time running away to realize what you may be running toward" - nice line. :)

- yep, here it is just like I remembered seein it last night. Right as Hurley says that "he's not the FLASH", as he says the word "FLASH", we see this shot:

S3E16 "One of Us" Addendum Notes/Caps

- very nice shot to open. I call it "hiking back"

- "I want to know what you people are doing on this Island; why you're terrorizing us; making Lists; kidnapping children. I want to know EVERYTHING." - you and me both, Sayid. But at least you're askin the right questions now.

- the look on Sayid's face when Jack tells him what to do in regards to Juliet is priceless....I call it "say wha?!?"

- "I know it sounds like 6 months is like an eternity, but you'll be amazed how time flies once you're there" - a direct quote from Richard Alpert. Once again, a hint about TIME not being normal on the Island.....remember, only fools are enslaved by time and space.

- about the trip to the Island: "It can be kind of intense", "the last leg can be a little bumpy". I hope we actually get to see how one would get from the Island to the outside world and vice versa.

- I would like to know what is heard being spoken right before Juliet wakes up on the sub. All I can make out is the first voice saying "Did you get anything out of her?" but I can't hear the reply cause the music is too loud. Calling rvturnage....

- And why was Juliet hoarse from the trip? Was it cause of the tranquilizer she was given?

- this here is an awesome shot of Juliet realizing where she is:

- when Hurley told Juliet where they buried Ethan, I was like "omg what if Ethan had a "list" on him that Juliet needed and she had to dig up his grave!?!" ZOMBIE ETHAN!!

- "Jacob said he would take care of it himself, unless you don't have any faith in Him"......so either this mysterious JACOB character can cure cancer, or Ben lied (once again) about Juliet's sisters cancer returning. Remember what he said to Juliet in the Pearl "I find out what people care most about, and I exploit it" This sure sounds to me like Ben was doing just that to Juliet here.

- Juliet's whole "moral police" rant to Sayid and Sawyer reminded me so much of Ben's manipulations.

- it seems like the Flame was close to Othersville if Ben and Juliet were able to just take a little walk to it after the plane crashed.

- so as Juliet is being revealed as a Mole, she looks at JIN, SUN, and DESMOND. Foreshadowing things to come.....cool.

- ANSWERS.......No children can be born on the Island.....until Aaron......but wait....I thought Ben said HE was born on the Island?? Something is not right here.

- Ooooh...the Goodwin and Juliet relationship was a twist I did not see coming at all.

- the symbol on the tree that resembled the brand on Juliet....that symbol will be interpreted and torn apart for the next week.

- nice shot of Jack and Juliet sittin on the beach lookin out on the ocean

- PRICE. Who is he?

- I said it before, when they find out that Sun is pregnant (if they don't already know)...LOOK OUT...all hell will break loose.

- I've seen the mention of the "Mouse Trap" game seen in the Others rec room, but here also is another "LOST" game - backgammon:

- well here we go....Juliet most certainly lied about being gassed too. Making tea my butt. Here she is seen walking with a large pack with all the others who whip out the gasmasks, put them on, and head out:

The only thing missing is the leather knife sheath on gasmask girl isn't on Juliet. So that's why I'm sayin it totally might NOT be Juliet, but since I believe the whole thing with the handcuffs and leaving Juliet behind and Smokie and all that was all BEN manipulating again to get another MOLE in the Losties camp - I'm gonna say it's Juliet.

- Damn....Juliet seems to have "super strength" like Ethan - she counters Kate's stick attack very fast, and in the jungle when she grips Kate's wrist, they deliberately show how red Kate's wrist was when Juliet let go.

- "Ain't gonna get the Korean vote" - HAHAHAHAHA!!!

- the tree that Hurley is hangin the clothes on is the same one seen when (I forget which eppy) Sun tells Kate she's pregnant. I'll have comparison caps later.

- was that the same actress who has always played Diane Austen? She looked so different in this eppy if it was.

- was that thunder? or was it something else?.......SMOKIE!!!!!

- MINDSCANNER!!!!!!!!!! Or.......was it giving Juliet INSTRUCTIONS......hmm......

- the 4th time Juliet's shoulder has been dislocated?? O RLY??? And what would the other 3 times be?? A fertility doctor doesn't normally know how to counter stick attacks and have their shoulder dislocated 4 times.....something else is going on here.

- I loved the new theme at the end of the eppy. Michael Giacchino is AWESOME!!!

S3E14 "Expose" - Addendum Notes/Caps

(aka the "Remember when Nikki and Paulo" episode)

- "Its not a ring, not yet. But when my wife...*gasp*" - the last words of an unfinished sentence by Harold Zuckerman. What was he going to say? Is it even important?

- some of Zuckerman's other credits included "Strike Team Alpha" and "Dr. Kincaid, Esquire"

- judging from Paulo's bag, Nikki appeared in (and died in) Season 4 of Expose:

- "promise me we'll never end up like them" - Nikki talkin to Paulo about Boone and Shannon - HAHAHA!! TOO BAD!! You're DEAD now too!! Ended up just like Boone and Shannon!!

- right after the above line, we hear a "Captain Stewart" being paged. Its a long shot, but I think this might be a nod to Patrick Stewart who played Captain Picard in STNG (I mean, JJ IS doing the new Star Trek flick )

- wow....Nikki is frantically searching for Paulo, and when she finds him, he's all bloodied up. They just survived a PLANE CRASH and her mind is on the jewels she stole?!?! He looks at her here with an expression that fits my last sentence.

- HAHAHA!! "Maybe it was a Dinosaur" says Paulo. "Its not Jurassic Park, Paulo, its the South Pacific" replies Nikki. HAHAHAHA!!!! Take a good look around you, namely Hurley's Golf Course - um, I hate to tell you this, but you're on the SAME ISLAND as Jurassic Park.

- I'm not positive, but it looks like they reused the exact same shot of the beach plane from "Deus Ex Machina" in this episode. Compare:

- "since we've arrived here, I've discovered 20 new species" - does Arzt even know enough to be able to say he's discovered a new species of animal, let alone 20 of them?? Cause if he DID discover 20 new species of animal....well....lets just say it makes me think of a certain statue along the coast that Sayid, Jin, and Sun might have seen...

- here's my cap of the Casting List for what I'm guessing is the script for Nikki's last episode of Expose. Aside from Billy Dee Williams, none of the actors names are real.

- "Kate and her two boyfriends found a case of guns..." says Shannon. "The case is locked. The key is around Jack's neck" says Kate. - BAM!! There it is - ANSWER to the question I've had since S1 - How did Shannon a) know about the guns at all, and b) know that Jack had the key around his neck?

- I'm not sure if we've actually seen this before.....well, we've seen the logo, but not this specific one. This is the Pearl logo, raised on the wall, similar to the one from the Swan:

- Ben asks why the Pearl is open, and Juliet replies because Tom was down there a few days ago. What was Tom doing in the Pearl? When does this scene occur in the timeline - what were the Losties doing then? It had to have happened after they were in the Swan, cause when Tom encountered Jack, Sawyer, and Locke in the jungle, he made the comment about "opening doors to rooms you've got no business opening" which said he knew they had gotten into the Swan.

- Paulo was not the one who left the cigarette in the Pearl. Here we see him, right after he hid the jewels in the toilet, picking up the walkie. Next to it we can see a cigaratte butt, which says to me that before Paulo, there was another individual who spent time in the Pearl who was a smoker, and is likely the individual who left the smoldering butt when Locke and Eko entered the Pearl for the first time.

- here's a cap of the walkie showing frequency 218. I dunno if it means anything, but they made a point to show it, so...

- Vincent is one smart dog!! He pulls the blanket off of Nikki and Paulo to try to show everyone they're still alive, but HA! NO DICE Nikki and Paulo!! No one catches on!!

- nice shot of "12 hours ago" Nikki sitting on the beach

- "If you found the diamonds, you wouldn't need me anymore" - right after this line is where I distinctly hear the "cicada sound" of Smokie. Though we don't see the black smoke, this is the shot where we hear the sound:

- this is the best closeup shot of the "medusa spider" I could get. Any spider experts out there able to identify it?

- And I'd like to close with this cap that I call "Flashes Before Your Eyes". ;)

- very cool how they incorporated Nikki and Paulo into the Pilot scenes

- it was also very nice to see Dr. Arzt again.

- I guess Ben and crew must've recovered the hatch entrance to to Pearl after Paulo last left it otherwise Locke and Boone would've seen it before Boone climbed up to the plane.

- I'm curious to see the other names on the casting sheet for Expose that Hurley read

- NICE!!! Now this here was a PRIME moment of this eppy for me - it finally answered a question that has lingered for me since S1 - HOW DID SHANNON KNOW THAT JACK HAD THE KEY TO THE GUNS?? (this was when she was goin after Locke for Boone's death) Here we finally see Kate telling Nikki, Paulo, Arzt, and SHANNON about Jack, the guns, and the key.

- clever excuse for Paulo using the bathroom in the Pearl.

- Wow.....so did Ben and the Others have Jack, Kate, and Sawyer's capture planned before Walt was taken?? And to use Michael too?? I'm rather confuzzled at this....I think this was another HUGE reveal in this eppy.

- OMG. Just OH MY GOD. BURIED ALIVE......but still.....if we play our cards right....NO MORE NIKKI AND PAULO!!! HOORAY!!!

S3E12 "Par Avion" - Addendum Notes/Caps

- the opening shot is a closeup of Claire's left eye, and when Claire awakens on the Island, the shot we see is of Claire's right eye. I wonder if this was to show the two sides of Claire....

- the interactions between Locke and Mikhail in this episode were very odd. For example, as Locke says to Sayid "How come you didn't warn me the basement was lined with C4?", Mikhail just smirks, like he knows that Locke did more than just Enter 77 or something.

- Locke and Rousseau are all about killing Mikhail, while Sayid and Kate want to keep him alive. We all can feel that there is more to Rousseau than she's admited to, and now I'm really getting the same kind of vibe from Locke, but not in the same way that I don't trust Danielle.

- sounds to me like Claire crashed her car intentionally. Officer Barnes says to Claire "I spoke with the truck driver, he's fine by the way; he said that when you hit him" and immediately Claire interrupts and says the trucker hit her.

- Kate to Rousseau "Can I ask you something?" - here I was hoping it was gonna be a good question and we would get more info out of her, but it was not. Wasted opportunity. But I forgive em cause they've gotten a bunch of other good answers recently and they seem like they're actually getting smarter!

- if he was recruited at age 24 to the Island, then Mikhail must've had some experience going to and from the Island if he has a memory of Locke in the wheelchair.

- another oddity between Locke and Mikhail - when Kate asks "What list?", Mikhail glances at Locke as if in acknowledgement of him being on the List. Ben has said that Locke was one of the "good ones" so perhaps John Locke is on "The List" (or Ben was just lying again).

- Locke's motivation to finally kill Mikhail was his admitting that he knew Locke was paralyzed before arriving on the Island. Locke seems to want this kept a secret at all costs for some reason. I've seen discussions on who else knows about Locke, and the only two people are Walt and Rose; Walt is "escaping" with Michael, and Rose hasn't been seen all season.

- I know there are better ones out there, but here are some caps of Sayid's new map - and judging from the size of it, we should be able to see the flame station (they said it was on there, right?) - but I can't see it anywhere....:

- see? watching LOST can make your brains drip out your ears!!

- either Andrew Divoff (the actor playing Mikhail) has cauliflower ear or I can see the blood pouch on his ear after he falls and dies.

- Christian to Claire "I gave you toys, I sang to you" so even though she doesn't remember his face, she remembers him singing "Catch a falling star" to him. I saw it mentioned that it would be a really neat way to connect Jack and Claire by having Claire sing "catch a falling star" and Jack recognizes it. That would be very cool.

- I don't know if this is the same location as Kelvin's death, but this is a nice shot of Desmond walking out to get the bird on the rocks:

- here's a nice shot of Charlie and Claire on the beach before releasing the bird:

- followed by another great shot of Claire letting the bird go:

- I'd like to close with two funny caps of the newly revealed half brother and sister. I call them both "DURRRRR!!":

- Nice eyeshot to open.

- Mapmapmapmapmapmap!!! :) I can't wait to get a HiRes cap of that Map!!

- Mikhail was recruited at age 24 by a MAN. NOT an ad like he said.

- as soon as Kate asks "what list?", Mikhail looks right at Locke. Later, they try to decieve us as he rattles off the reasons why they are not on the "list" and looking at each of them as he says a reason. The traits he mentioned didn't really fit the person he looked at, he was just saying things and looking around. There is something about Locke...

- A Magnificent Man, NOT Ben. ALVAR HANSO. :D

- that was a very cool semi-panoramic shot of the electrofence

- so I assume that was Claire's aunt's house that Christian went bangin on with Ana Lucia last season....

- whoops....Locke killed Mikhail. At least they got *some* answers from him before he died.

- oooh, BIG shocker - Christian is Claire's father. I even did the "Darth Vader" breathing as I prepared for him to say "the line".

- BONDI BEACH was seen on the diaper towel. Any reason they would use this?

- who was it that Claire said sung to her as a child, who sung her "Catch a falling star"? I think she said it was her father. It was in S1 in "Raised by Another" that she said it to the potential adoptive parents. I'll check the transcripts.

- Sawyer was reading an Ayn Rand book, but I couldn't see which one. (Later confirmed as "Fountainhead")

- nice shot of the birds being released. I'll have a cap in my addendum post.

- so Jack has joined the Others now? Just cause he's playing football with Tom? For all we know, he could be playin them still, trying to get as much info as he can to use against them somehow. I guess we shall see....

Next week looks like its gonna be one of "THOSE" episodes.

S3E11 "Enter 77" - Addendum Notes/Caps

Lets dive right in...

- "Dude, all I know is the sky turned purple, after that I don't ask questions. Just make myself a salad and move on" - what a great line!

- The Flame station has a series of loudspeakers around it like the Hydra:

- "I have never been here before" says Danielle. She also said something very similar when shown the Swan Hatch. I just do not believe her. 16 years on the Island (with a map) and she's never seen any of the Others/Dharma facilities. Yeah right. See HERE.

- The restaurant Sayid was working at in the first FB was called "Le Portail D'Arabie" which means "The Gate of Arabia" in French.

- unlike the Swan, the supplies seen at The Flame are NOT labeled with the Flame logo, rather the one we saw on the Dharma Shark:

- and also here, on the first aid kit, we can make out (I know its blurry) the logo for The Staff:

- Mikhail says that DHARMA initiated the war/Purge against the "hostiles" - after it was over 4 men appeared and offered a truce. I wonder who those 4 men were? Ben, Tom, Jacob, and ?? (Pickett??)

- with this shot here, we can place Sayid in Paris (see the Eiffel Tower in the background):

- Nadia Komanich (sp?) Russian gymnast, shares a birthday with Mikhail. What is this birthday??

- now we have 4 different DHARMA logos seen in The Flame - The Flame, The "Shark logo", The Staff, and now the Swan, seen here on the Vodka bottle:

- I just have to say again how happy I am that Sayid was asking all kindsa good questions of Mikhail. "What is the Dharma Initiative?" "What is the purpose of the flame?" "Are there any cables going out into the ocean" "How did you get here?" "So there are submarines?" and he got some good answers to all of those questions (for the most part).

- there are boxes in the basement of the Flame that bear new numbers:

- also, the Food Drop Protocol and Operations Manual offered another new series of DHARMA related numbers:

- MANUAL OVERRIDE ACHIEVED - For Pallat Drop, enter 24; for Station Uplink, enter 32, for Mainland Communication, enter 38. The satellite dish is inoperable. Communications are down. - it looks like after he shot Miss Klugh, Mikhail was going to turn the gun on himself, but Locke stopped him.

- a little comment on the magazines that Hurley gave back to Sawyer - the "Nun turned Stripper" must've been a huge story in 1990 cause "Playpen" magazine featured the story in two issues!! :P

- "I lied about being a member, everything else I said is true. I moved into this station after the Purge". I would like to know exactly when this PURGE took place, and is it in any way related to the INCIDENT, and if so, HOW?

- "that place was our one chance of communication with the outside world"....um....no it's not, Sayid. You yourself reminded Danielle about the Radio Tower, and inquired if the one at the Flame was what she was talkin about. To which she said it was not the same tower. Now, I realize that her distress call has been playing on a loop for 16 years and gone unanswered, but they have Sayid who might know how to tweak some stuff to get the signal from the tower to change (somehow) - if they ever find the thing.

- and I'd like to close with THE FLAME in Flames:

- Others have been there a VERY LONG TIME before DHARMA - ANSWERS!!! ANSWERS!!! ANSWERS!!!

- The Flame is the Dharmatel Hub (well, was)

- The Beach Cable is a Sonar Beacon that is used to communicate with the subs to get people/recruits to the Island. ARE THEY GOING THROUGH A VORTICE/BLACK HOLE? Yung is gonna eat this stuff up. And again - we have ANSWERS!!! Finally an ANSWER to what the beach cable is!!!

- is "Marvin Candle" a member of DHARMA? or is he working with Mittelos? Either way - ALVAR HANSO IS BEHIND THE WHOLE THING.

- Hi Miss Klugh!! *waves* Bye Miss Klugh!! *waves*

- was the cat an incarnation of Smokie??? If it wasn't, how did THAT Cat end up on the Island??? (from looking at screencaps, the cat in the FB doesn't look like the exact same cat as the one on the Island. Very close though. I'm still undecided.)

S3E10 "Tricia Tanaka is Dead" Addendum Notes/Caps

Well, I didn't end up takin that many addendum notes, but I did make some caps that I'd like to share. Here ya go:

One of the first shots gave me the feel of S1, even though it was insignificant - the license plate on the Camaro:

When Hurley's father rides away on his motorcycle, you can see the crappy attempt to conceal the fact that he's riding a YAMAHA motorcycle (so TPTB didn't have to pay royalties, they cut off the Y and last A):

Here's the best I could do with the candy bar we see Hurley eat, and I don't see a Polar Bear, and it's not an Apollo Bar. It's something like "G _ _ _ _ D Bar" I have no clue what it really says:

One of three excellent shots from the cinematography dept. in this episode is after Hurley places the flower at Libby's grave:

Well, it looks like the key to the Dharma Van doesn't have the infamous Dharma logo on it, it's just a plain old key:

This sequence here was just AWESOME, and it's one I won't forget anytime soon - of course, I'm referring to the Meteor hitting Mr.Clucks:

The second of three fantastic shots was Charlie sitting on the beach "moping" before Hurley came to get him:

- the candy bar given to Hurley in the first FB was NOT an Apollo bar :p

- there was a very nice shot of Hurley at Libby's grave that went perfectly with the music.

- Randy NATION - well, we have a last name for him now. Is it a little nod to script coordinator Gregg Nations?

- oh NO!! Johnny ran off with Starla!! Poor Hurley!!

- HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I almost died laughing when I realized why I thought the name TRICIA TANAKA sounded familiar - from "Family Guy" Asian reporter TRICIA TAKANAWA - funny how TRICIA TANAKA was also an Asian Reporter!! ROTFL!!

- Okay, that Metoer hittin Mr. Clucks rivaled the tail section crashing!! That was FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!

- DHARMA BEER!!!! I WANT SOME!!!!!

- "Snuffy" hehehe, Sawyer calls Hurley (in reference to Mr. Snuffalupagus ) and then "looks like somebody's hooked on phoenics" - whoever they have writing for Sawyer now is doing a fantastic job

- I want a cap of that Blueprint that Sawyer looked at and said it was just a "dirt road" - I get the feeling its more than that.

- another nice shot seen of Charlie sittin on the beach (will have cap later)

- YAY!!! I'm so happy Kate was smart like I had hoped and pieced together that the ALEX that helped her was also the ALEX that was Rousseau's daughter!!!

And now it looks like business is about to pick up significantly too.

S3E09 - Stranger in a Strange Land - Addendum Notes and Caps

- opening shot, right off the bat, nice work by the cinematography dept (and another view of the Island to help Yung with his maps):

- I did not hear Karl say the line from the brainwashing film "God loves you as he loved Jacob" when I watched the first time. I guess the film worked a little.

- I think that Tom's comment to Jack about gettin him some stones was a witty reply to Jack's accusations of what kinds of people he thought they were. "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" - so is Tom likening what the Others are doing to things he knows about Jack's past? Kinda like a "you should talk, Jack, I know some of the things you've done in your life".

- I'm not 100% sure now that I have the caps, but it still kinda appears that the "Thailand" scenes were filmed on the other side of the mountain range where the Pala Ferry Docks are (on second glance I am starting to think its different locations):

- yep. Bai Ling is a hottie

- this is interesting.....while Tom is talking to Jack in his cage, right before he says "let me ask you something", there is a noise in the jungle (sounded like an animal) but whatever it was, it made Tom look in its direction with concern -

- here's another nice shot of Sawyer and Kate on the boat as they are almost at the shore -

- in this shot, we can see Alcatraz Island behind Sawyer (now the question is, will we learn where on craphole Island Kate and Sawyer docked in relation to the Losties camp? Cause alot of speculation has gone on as to where Alcatraz Island is on the Maps)

- "Why don't we just circle round" and Kate points East. I wonder if this is any indication of them having the vaguest idea of where their camp is in relation to where they are now.

- since they don't show anyones face here, its impossible to tell if Cindy and the other Tailies (I presume) are there to watch Juliet's sentencing/possible execution. But here is the group in front of Jack's cage:

And here is the best shot I could get of the backs of their heads in the "courtroom". It looks like Cindy may be seated in the front

- we see Ben loaded onto a little Dingy boat to row out to the big boat. We also get another comparison shot of where craphole Island is in comparison to Alcatraz Island

- now, as far as the boat we see at the end being the same one they captured Walt on and gave to Michael and Walt to escape - in this shot here, judging from the distance, its MUCH larger than the boat given to Michael and Walt. Definitely NOT the same boat.

*note the windows on the cabin on the two boats - on the smaller boat, the center window is clearly smaller and there doesn't appear to be any room to stand on the bow like we see Juliet here on the larger boat.

- Captain Bunnykiller!! LMAO!! The writers come up with the funniest nicknames for Sawyer to give people!!

- I'll have caps tomorrow of this, but the very first FB scene it makes you think we're lookin at OUR Island and not "Thailand" but in all reality, its still Hawaii, just the other side of the mountian range where the Pala Ferry docks are for real.

- Karl says Alcatraz Island is "where they work" and the kids are "given a better life" (we heard that from Goodwin too - what the hell are they talkin about though??)

- URSA THEODORUS - The Teddy Bear. I thought that was cute

- Jack's not dumb enough to push the "food" button the third time after it says "WARNING"

- one version of Jack is that he is a leader, a great man, but also lonely which makes him angry

- BOOOOO!!! Isabelle. Dammit, I REALLY wanted her to be KAREN DeGROOT.

- "What the hell is the Brady Bunch" - well that says Karl hasn't been off the Island ever. Who are his parents??

- Ethan was their surgeon - I imagine this was one of the 3 "BIG" reveals...

- hehehe...tonight was the 3rd time Jack was insulted about his poor bedside manner (last time was in MoSMoF with Hurley hiking back from blowing off the Hatch door)

- DHARMA logo on the stand? YES!! HYDRA logo on the stand. These people, these OTHERS, in my humble opinion, ARE THE DHARMA INITIATIVE. They never left. What they stand for now is what remains to be seen....

- * - so thats the "mark". The Heroes Helix is cooler Wonder what it means to be "Marked"?

- "BIG" reveal #2 - Jack's tatoos mean "He walks among us but he's not one of us" (no idea what #3 was supposed to be :P)

- Michael Giacchino saved the end of this eppy for me by FINALLY introducing what I believe to be the "theme" music for the rest of S3.

S3E08 "Flashes Before Your Eyes" - Addendum Notes and Caps

- new book - Hurley seen flipping through "Laughter in the Dark" by Vladimir Nabokov

- right after Locke says "You know what it is" to Charlie, Desmond starts doing his "thing". It looks like he's having Deja Vu and he's trying to figure out what comes next and in a hurry (which he does). Perhaps his entire life from birth to death flashed before his eyes, and he's not really seeing the future, but remembering an instance from the life flash (which after it happened, is somehow still with him in his brain/subconscious, giving him the appearance of being able to see the future). My brain can't quite grasp this whole thing just yet...

THE FLASHES WHEN THE KEY WAS TURNED:

- Desmond holding Locke at gunpoint as he confronts Jack for the first time

- Desmond with the "oh no, you've killed us all" look after Kate accidentally shoots the Hatch compy

- Desmond trying to fix the Hatch compy

- the Hatch compy frying after Desmond fails to fix it

- Desmond yelling at Jack in the jungle as he tries to run away

- Desmond all drunk in the boat when Jack, Sawyer, and Sayid found him

- just like Desmond can now on the Island, the shopkeeper has the same ability in Desmond's "past" to "see the future" (the red shoed man)

- "that man was supposed to die, that was his path" - sounds an awful lot like "he was a sacrifice the Island demanded" and "Eko was killed for a reason, I just haven't figured out what it is yet"

- "you must go to the Island" and "pushing that button is the greatest thing you will ever do" sounds to me like she wants/needs him to go to the Island - she's "in" on it....somehow....

- the photographer only takes ONE picture of Des and Penny. Desmond has one on the Island, and Penny also has one that we see on her nightstand in the S2 finale. How do they BOTH have a copy of the picture?

- when Des pitched the ring into the river, it reminded me alot of Isildur losing the One Ring

- we get a slightly better shot than the one in "Further Instructions" of the remains of the Hatch here too:

- MacCutcheon Whiskey - as soon as they said the name, I knew it had some sort of significance.

- When Desmond turned the key, his life "FLASHED BEFORE HIS EYES". Very creative, the episode title. BUT....does everyone remember when THE EXACT SAME THING happened to Mr. Eko right before he saw "Yemi" in "?"; AND when Eko first encountered Smokey in "The 23rd Psalm" what did we see? FLASHES OF EKO'S LIFE IN SMOKEY. What's up with all that?

- 1:08...BEEP BEEP BEEP (its only the microwave)

- I'll have caps of Widmore's office ASAP - this guy is IN on the "Island" dealings. Namaste backwards, Polar bear statue, etc.....

- um....His "FOUNDATION" is sponsoring the race around the world....um.....FOUNDATION....um....like as in HANSO FOUNDATION??? Did Charles Widmore OVERTHROW Alvar Hanso and steal his family secret?? Or are they working together??

- WIDMORE INDUSTRIES - finally a company name. Now who wants to bet a million fansites pop up for this one overnight?

- Wow!! Charlie in Desmond's um....I wanna say FB....but....*brain fart*..."and then it started to RAIN" - this is a trend on LOST, folks being able to predict the rain.

- I will need caps to confirm this, but it looks as if in the S2 Finale, Penelope answers the phone IN DESMONDS FLAT. The nightstand is in the right spot, the clock (if I remember correctly) is identical, and the gold headboard bars are the same as well. (after checking caps, I'm wrong on this one)

- WHO WAS THAT OLD WOMAN AND HOW THE HELL DID SHE KNOW ALL THAT STUFF?????? (we learned that her name is Mrs. Hawking - I forget where)

- Like I said, AMAZING shot to open

- Here's the vial seen in the opening FB. I can make out "Test Sample" and "Week 6, Batch 7". Doesn't appear to have our NUMBERS on it (until I read TPTP's post in the screencap request thread at Lost-Tv that put together that 6 weeks, at 7 batches per week = 42):

- here we see Juliet injecting Rachel with 4cc's of this "Test Syrum"

- here's the Miami skyline with the Oceanic plane flying by

- Juliet's acces card into the Miami Central University Bio Reseach Labs is for Research Lab A-4

- the vials that Juliet steals from the Miami lab appear to be the same as the ones we saw her inject Rachel with in FB1

- "there has to be a boat here somewhere, how else do they get back and forth" - just wait til they find out about the GALAGA :P

- I think its official - the Others are worse shots than Stormtroopers.

- I wonder now that Kate knows Alex's name and that she's a good "other" - will she mention this the next time she runs into Danielle, or will she not be around to do it or just be dumb and not say anything? Kate was at the beach when Danielle told the story of the Others taking her baby Alex (Exodus Part 1) and she's also heard Claire's story of the teenage girl who helped her escape, so I would hope that she puts 2 and 2 together and says something.

- when Ben regained consciousness, and was able to hear what Jack and Tom had been saying, the last thing they said to each other was: Tom "Did Juliet really ask you to kill him?" Jack "yeah, and in about 40 minutes, she's gonna get her wish" - so Ben has now heard of Juliet's little plan to have him killed. We don't actually hear what is said between them, only what Juilet tells Jack at the end what he said - and we have to just take her word for it.....nope. Not buyin it. Those two (Ben and Juliet) are schemers. Juliet isn't the same person she was before she was on the Island (okay, there was the stealing and potential ethical issues but still...). Now, she has a killer instinct - she zapped Sawyer, held Kate at gunpoint, told her Other friends to kill Sawyer and Kate if necessary, and shot Danny - I didn't see any indication of this kinda behavior from her in any of her FBs.

- looking for Easter Eggs and not coming up with anything, here is the brief shot we see of Juliet's computer screen:

- Juliets research could be brilliant, or it could raise some serious ethical concerns and maybe even criminal concern - and this is a trait the Others want her for? I'm leaning towards a little from column A (helping people get pregnant) and a little from column B (what the Others have her doing, which is god knows what)

- "I'm Tom, by the way" - um, I think Jack already knew that when Miss Klugh blurted his name out on the docks

- here are the slides that Dr. Alpert shows Juliet of the Mittelos Community

- we get a new shot of the entrance to the Hydra as Saywer, Kate, and Alex rush in to free Karl

- I have taken 53 caps of the brainwashing film. I know there are numerous other caps already out there. So what I'm going to do is compare what I have to what's out there and see if I have anything that they all missed (doubt it though ) Here is a LINK to the caps I was able to add.

- I tried to cap the APOLLO sign, but there's just no way (I posted as close as I got in the Screencap request thread). I did get this kinda goofy cap of Ed Burke gettin hit by the bus:

- so the bus with the Apollo Candy bar ad (a Hanso Foundation sponsored company I might add) hits and kills Juliet's ex-husband, the only thing she told Mr. Alpert that was standing in her way of working for them. And Alpert/Mittelos play it off like they had nothing to do with it....yeah right.

- I think Tom was going to say "Becuase when the sky turned purple, we lost communication with our off Island contacts" or something to that extent.

- it was really great to hear the theme from S1 again (the one we hear in full at the end of "Do No Harm") as Sawyer and Kate rowed away

- now, this was not the case, but I think it woulda been a cute Easter Egg if the pack of tissues that Ethan handed Juliet in the morgue was Dharma brand.

S3E07 "Not In Portland"

Some first round viewing notes:

- What an AMAZING shot to open the episode after 13 weeks. The folks in the Cinematography Dept get an A++ from me for this episode just for giving us this shot

- 4cc's in the needle Juliet gave her sister in the first FB

- as soon as I saw Ethan, I said to myself "holy crap, they are gonna confirm Off Island Hanso/Dharma agents tonight!!" (and they did too)

- I was ROTFL at Sawyer deliberately hitting Pickett's head 3 times into the food button so he would get shocked

- as soon as Juliet's Ex said he wanted in, I knew whatever it was she was doing was gonna be the reason that Hanso/Dharma was lookin into her.

- "you have 3 minutes" Jack says to Juliet - just like Miss Klugh said to Michael about Walt last season.

- MittelosBioscience, privately funded - BY THE HANSO FOUNDATION (don't forget to say that part )

BTW - THERE IS A WEBSITE FOR MITTELOSBIOSCIENCE - IT IS A CONFIRMED FANSITE.

- What was the book that the Hydra guard was reading? It was "A Brief Story of...." and I couldn't see the last word. (I got my answer later - "A Brief Story of Time" by Stephen Hawking)

- WOOKIE PRISONER GAG!!!! OMG!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That was PRICELESS!!!

- Karl is held in Room 23 - THE NUMBERS ARE BACK

- the only thing that I saw that flashed in that crazy video (that I was so toughly hoping was gonna be a TLE tie-in, but oh well ) was something like "He loves you like God loved Jacob." The only reason it stood out was the JACOB reference. That and a few frames after, we see none other than Gerald DeGroot (in the same shot he's seen in the Swan Orientation film).

- I'm sorry, but YAY!!! Pickett is dead!!! That guy was a real jerk.

- As Jack "fixed" Ben, the number seen on his cart (blood pressure or something, I don't know) was 108 then it changed to something else real fast. I'll have a cap of it later

- I thought that was an amazing tie in of Jack's story about the girl's surgery he messed up and fixed paralleling what he was doing with Ben. Very well shot. Ver cool concept. Good one, TPTB

- 3 years, 2 months, 28 days has Juliet been on the Island. Now who wants to tell me what day she arrived?

- Again I say, the confirmation that HANSO/DHARMA has "Off-Island" recruitment was the biggest part of this episode for me. It explains how Kelvin got there for one, and also puts ALOT of backing behind ALVAR HANSO and his Hanso Foundation running the whole show. Ben, Jacob?, whoever....at the top of the chain is ONE MAN. And I firmly believe that ONE MAN is none other than ALVAR HANSO.

S3E06 "I Do" - Addendum Notes/Caps

Here are my addendum notes and screencaps for this episode:

- "well, Ben, at least you won't have to be disappointed for long" - oh SNAP!! This is a side of Jack we haven't seen yet!

- why was Sawyer going to be given the day off from working?

- Locke thinks that Smokie might be what brought them there, and Eko died for a reason that he doesn't know yet - very interesting. Also, very nice shot of Eko's funeral with the sun coming through the trees:

- "Did the Doctor get out again?" says Pickett into his walkie talkie. That was one little incident when Jack got out the first time and only Ben and Juliet were involved. Seems like the Others may do something that the Losties usually don't do - talk to each other about whats happened, if Pickett knew about Jack's first escape attempt. "Well does he know?" I am guessing he's referring to Ben here, another indication that Ben might have been some sort fo father figure to Alex.

- "How did she get over here?" totally implies that Alex knows how to get from one Island to the other, and I think she'll be the one who helps Kate and Sawyer escape. Pickett also says "someone's on the GRID".

- why wasn't Alex supposed/allowed to be on the work site/Hydra compound? Pickett says to her "You know you're not supposed to be here"

- Pickett and Juliet's convo at the work site:

Pickett: I don't understand, it was supposed to be two weeks
Juliet: Our schedule's been moved up
Pickett: Is that an order?
Juliet: Coming from him.
Pickett: its stupid
Juliet: its not my call, its the way it is

- there are several new images seen on the monitors in Ben's viewing room:

In this first one, they all look new to me, except maybe 3 and 6. #1 is the OR, #2 might be the work site, and #4 looks to be a road

This one is good. #3 is lookin at what now? Is that the other Island in the distance?

#2 here looks the be the front entrance to the Hydra (the cam looks like its under the canopy walkway)

so we all see Kate and Sawyer on #2, but what about below them? That sure looks like a long underground tunnel or corridor to me....but I later realized that its a shot from underneath the canopied walkway near the cages.

- Kate had a timer on her to time the lentgh of the phone call to Marshall Mars so it couldn't be traced - she is SLICK, that Kate!!

- Marshall Mars makes reference to the Feast of Ascension and lots of Holy days have past since Kate last called. Why?

- "Shut up, James!" - damn....boy you know you're in trouble when she's using your real name there

- it looks like Kevin and Monica...erm, Kate lived in Miami

- "if I were a betting man, I would've picked her or you" - Ben is still tryin to mess with Jack, even with a gun in his face!

- I don't have a cap to close with, so I'll just say again, that Jack's play at the end of the episode was one of the most intense scenes I've seen on tv in quite a while

Again I say - FEB 7th can't get here fast enough!! BRING IT ON!!!

S3E06 "I Do"

I could not BREATH during the last five minutes of this episode it was so intense!!!

Some quick first round notes here:

- Juliet took Ben's blood tests, and I assume Jack meant did the blood work too

- Monica - yet ANOTHER Alias for Kate...

- so Karl is Alex's boyfriend. It also seems like she's been quite the thorn in their side. rvturnage if you read this, I would love to hear the walkie talkie convo between Pickett and whoever when Alex tried to free Kate and Sawyer.

- I noticed that the voice that is heard on the Hydra loudspeakers is the very same one we heard in the Swan during the Lockdown and saying "SYSTEM FAILURE"

- It looked to me like there were some new shots on Ben's viewing room monitors. I will have them in my caps post tomorrow for sure.

- LOOK NORTH. I wonder where Locke will be headed next? Go get em, Locke!!

- Hehehe...nice....Oceanic tickets

- Ben's promise is so slick..."I need to get off THIS Island" says Jack....and in his mind Ben is goin - "yeah, I'll take you off THIS Island, and plop you right back on the Island where you started!"

- much like Penelope and Desmond, I think Kate's husband is gonna be lookin for her.

- "I've always been good at following orders" - Juliet to Jack. I found this line very interesting.

- why was Ben asking about Alex right before he went under the knife?

- JACOB'S LIST?? Who the heck is Jacob? "Shephard wasn't even on Jacob's List" is what Pickett says......

- the implications of what Jack did there at the end....I was truly SHOCKED. I didn't know he had it in him. I couldn't breathe, I was gripping my couch so hard my knuckles were white. That was some SERIOUSLY INTENSE FIERCENESS right there.

S3E05 "The Cost of Living" - Addendum Notes/Caps

Here are my addendum notes with screencaps for this episode:

- A funny little coincidence - S1E5 "White Rabbit" is the episode where Christian "appeared" to Jack and lead him to the water/caves. In this episode Yemi appears to Eko, and its revealed that the manifestations are Smokie. Nice.

- The very beginning of the episode parallels the ending very well. In the opening FB, we see Eko stealing food so his hungry brother could eat, and when the time came to confess, he didn't want to because, just like Eko said at the end to 'Yemi': "I did what I had to to survive". Also of note, we don't actually see little Eko going into the confessional, it cuts out on the woman yelling at him to confess and he just turns round and stands there. I would assume that he did eventually, but he wasn't too happy about it.

- Hurley to Eko "stay alive dude, okay?" - how ironic.

- in my first round notes, I asked "Who started the fire?" or rather how was it started. I get a slight answer as I rewatch - Yemi has a zippo lighter.

- okay, here's my best attempt at transcribing Henry's Eulogy for Colleen: "As we prepare to send Colleen on her way, I'd like to take a moment to *loud wave and Juliet speaking*. Everyone here *can't make out what he says here* what would that say for our society? The fact that *something* interfering anything but safe. *something to close* as she always has. *music starts the instant Ben finishes the Eulogy* The waves were REALLY loud and that made it very hard to make some stuff out, but I'm sure rvturnage will be able to get the whole transcript for us eventually

- so Locke said he saw a "bright Light" and it was beautiful. Did Eko see it here as he stumbled through the jungle?

We see him stumbling along, then he looks up and sees "the light" and starts to move towards it but as soon as he tries to, he falls over and passes out again. And when he comes to, guess who streaks by?

- Smokie was following Eko around and then all of a sudden a knife is thrown at Eko and almost hits him. Just like the Black Horse that Kate saw, the knife was real, Eko grabbed it. As he sees the zombies of those he killed, I noticed that in two shots there were actually more than one zombie, meaning Smokie manifested two different zombies at once. Every other shot of a zombie is solo except for this (and also the next image as well):

Its also VERY fast. Cause in the first shot above, you see the orange shirt zombie next to the missing arm zombie, and when Eko turns around, there he is kneeling on the ground yelling "Don't! No!", and we can see the armless zombie behind Eko still:

- although this is just the Sun here, I found it very interesting that given Locke's description of "bright light", they chose to use this shot IMMEDIATELY before the first zombie appears and throws the knife at Eko.

- NICE! I didn't catch this the first time - the Warlord that is taking the vaccine from the villagers is named "Emeka" which was originally going to be Mr. Eko's name

- Doctor/patient confidentiality "of course" says Juliet in sly tone of voice as she heads straight for the monitoring room (I think)

- I tried writing this as he said it last night, but it all happened too fast to keep up. Now, here is Ben's "original" plan for Jack, which I still think is what they wanted him to hear, and they're plan for Jack is just beginning: Break him, wear him down until they convinced him they weren't his enemy, gain his trust. Then he would think he was "choosing" to do what they wanted. They want him to hook up with Juliet.

- the religious symbolism in the episode was very heavy, especially Eko and Locke rolling the stone away from the entrance to the Drug plane's cargo hold where Yemi's body was only to find it gone. (Very similar to the story of the resurrection of Jesus)

- Juliet's message: Ignore everything I'm saying. Ben is a liar. And he is very dangerous. Some of us want a change, but it has to look like an accident. It has to look like we tried to save him. And that's up to YOU, Jack. Its a complicated surgery, no one would ever know. And I would protect you. Now tell me to turn off the movie.
A few things about this little message - Why does it have to look like they tried to save him? What are they worried about if it doesn't? If Ben dies, that's it, he's dead, end of evil reign of tyranny, right? Wrong. They're gonna have to explain Ben's death to the BOSS. HIM. Alvar Hanso. Who I imagine would be rather pissed if he found out his little utopia was fractured. Also, she's gonna protect him from who/what if it doesn't look like an accident? The "others" who would blame Jack perhaps and maybe try to hurt him cause of it? I think its more likely the same scenario I just mentioned, she's gonna protect him from the wrath of Hanso.

- There is a tree on the banks of the Charles River in Boston that is rooted into the ground twice. I call it the "Truffula Tree", and I think it is the coolest tree I have ever seen. This one here from last night is a very close second:

- And the cool shots keep on coming. I really like this shot of Eko approaching Yemi to "confess"

- Here's the shot of Yemi all covered in white dust (that I think was meant to be another indication that Yemi and Smokie are one and the same)

- its amazing how Smokie takes many shapes, and I'm not talkin about manifesting Yemi or anything like that, I mean the Smoke itself. When its moving quickly through the jungle, its long and flowing like a Chinese dragon, but here, when it confronts Eko to kill him, its MASSIVE looking!:

And again, its REALLY FAST! It extends what looks like a trunk out of its massive form and snatches Eko up in an instant. I managed to get a cap of that instant too:

In these shots, it really looks like a fist is grabbing Eko (especially the second one where you can almost kinda see a thumb):

- I'd like to close with an image that I call "Farewell Mr. Eko"

S3E05 "The Cost of Living"

Good episode :) Now for some first round notes:

- Question - How did the fire in Eko's hut start?

- How does Desmond know that the Hatch computer was used to communicate with the other stations. I mean the film mentions contact with "the outside world" but nothing about it talkin to the other stations. We saw it happen with "Walt" (or whoever it was talking to Michael), but how would Des know this?

- Shhh!! Just like Walt!! I believe this episode put a direct connection between Smokie and the "Havids". They're one group. The whispers/havid givers/controllers of smokie - and Ben and company are the "Others".

- How nice of Locke to offer to let other folks tag along to the Pearl. Too freakin bad it was idiot boy and the doofus queen. I really hate those two. ALOT. Alot more than I didn't like Ana Lucia. At least I'll have fun with Photoshop this week

- "Don't mistake coincidence for fate" - Nice. Very Nice.

- when Smokie was hovering over Eko looking into the water, I think it fled the scene cause it knew Locke was coming, not cause Eko turned and saw it.

- The tray that Juliet brings Jack his burger on is octagonal like the Dharma logo.

- Ben reveals his "plan" - YEAH RIGHT!!!! This is ALL part of their plan. Juliets video too. They are playin Jack so tough its not even funny.

- 2 days after Ben learns of his fatal tumor, Flight 815 crashes....interesting.

- Also interesting is how Locke FINALLY (kinda) describes a little more what he saw when he "looked into the eye of the Island, and what he saw was beautiful" in S1 - a "Bright Light" he called it.

- Yemi's body is gone. JUST like Christians. So I think Smokie/The Island can "absorb" these dead bodies and use their likenesses. It took Christian, Jack saw Christian in the water and in the jungle. It took Yemi, Locke and Eko both see Yemi. When Eko is yelling for Yemi to "show himself", he got what he asked for. Now I was REALLY hoping to see Yemi morph into Smokie, but I'll just assume it as so for now

- I think I now officially HATE Nikki as much as I hate Paulo. That whole scene in the Pearl where she tries to be all smart...GRRRR...

- "Ben is a Liar" - TRUE. "He is very dangerous" - TRUE. All the rest of it was part of yet another "Long Con" by Ben and crew.

- a little closure - so Eko was building the Island Church as a way to repent for Yemi

- I said to my brother as we watched "If Yemi morphs into Smokie right now I'm gonna mess my britches". All the white dust all over Yemi made it really look like they were gonna CG something really crazy....oh well....there's always next time......

- that's right. "We're next". Bring it on!! Locke is about to become THE MAN again. Get ready :)

S3E04 "Every Man For Himiself" - Addendum Notes/Caps

- the opening shot of Desmond is what I believe to be him "seeing" the future (Claire's tent/Aaron getting struck by lightning):

- oooh, here's something we haven't seen since S1 = Claire's Diary!!

- OMG one of my favorite cartoons!! "The Blue Danube"!!

- "you can talk to him all you want, but he won't tell you anything" - Juliet to Jack about talking to Benjamin. Well that's a no brainer. Ben only gives up what he wants. In the world of the Others, you only know as much as they want you to.

- I like how Jack is acting like Ben was when they had him captive, trying to cause dissention in the ranks by continued insinuation that Ben was "the man in charge". "Well, it doesnt work that way over here, Jack, we make decisions together" - of course you do. And yes, that might be how they run things "over here" but "over THERE", in the outside world, there's one man in charge of the whole operation. HIM. Alvar Hanso. Where do you think they got the submarine? The same place they get their food and supplies - The Hanso Foundation.

- "sounding a little stuffy there, chinatown. Need to blow your nose?" - Sawyer to Pickett. Those great Sawyer lines just keep on coming. Whoever has been writing for Sawyer is doing an amazing job!

- "2 days since the sky turned purple, we've been blind. Our comms are all down and I can't get em back up again" - so does this mean they have now lost contact with the outside world? The boss is gonna wonder what happened. And from the tone of his voice, it sounds like Tom doesn't think this con of Sawyer is all that important given all the other issues they're dealing with currently.

- They did a great job of scaring the crap out of Sawyer when they gave him the stick to bite on...."Its for the pain".....this look here says FEAR:

- from the look of Sawyer's "pacemaker scar", they didn't even stitch him up! (I put that cap as a link so the squeamish wouldn't have to see it again if they didn't wanna )

- here's what I could make out from the second time Jack heard audio from the intercom: It sounds like an intercepted conversation - V1:"..under control." V2:"Yeah, you know (hard to hear, Jack is moving)..." V1:"(I don't think he) knows what he is doing" V2:"It was a mistake bringing those two here"

- they make sure they bag Jack's head and run the sirens as he's moved from his cell to where he attempts to save Colleen. They didn't mind Kate seeing Sawyer in the cage, but for some reason, they don't want Jack to know about the well-being of his friends. All part of the long con they're pulling on him. "Well this is not why...." says Ben as he protests Jack's involvement in saving Colleen, "Do you want her to die?" Juliet asks as she interrupts Ben from finishing his sentence, which I think might have been "Well this is not why we brought him here".

- Props to the FX dept. folks for the lightning rod sequence:

- the look on Desmond's face after this happens is priceless too. Its the "holy crap, I was right" look:

- the large tumor is on a man, roughly 40 years old, on his L4 vertibrae. Here is the X-Ray if any of you Doctor folks can validate what Jack said:

- HOLY CRAP!! Its a second Island!! btw - LostTv's Yung23 called this shot long before we saw it here.

- in closing, I give you one of the final images from this episode that I call "Trapped":

S3E04 "Every Man For Himself"

They did it again. AMAZING Episode!!!!

Now for some first round notes:

- I could tell right away when Desmond was looking at Aaron that he "knew" something....

- Okay, so I freaked out a little here. The "Blue Danube"/Ugly Duckling Looney Toones cartoon that was playing for Jack is one of my ABSOLUTE ALL TIME FAVORITES from when I was a little kid, so I SQUEEEEEEEED rather hard at that

- "The SUB is back" - confirmation. The GALAGA is a Submarine. That is so freakin cool I can't even begin to put it into words now.

- More confirmation - its DANNY Pickett - Not "daddy" not "denny"

- Sawyer is prisoner #840

- Is it me or did Ben seem rather strong, like Ethan-strong when he beat up Sawyer?

- they were very deliberate as to show 2 bandages on Sawyer, very good at creating the illusion of the con, which my brother totally called, but I fell for when I saw the scar.

- Wow.....Sawyer has a daughter, that one was kinda a shocker

- It really seemed as if the Others didn't have a Doctor. But after seeing what they did to Sawyer and watching Ben let Jack sit with dead Colleen "for a while longer" makes me think this is yet another con.

- Juliet's white "doctor" shirt bears the HYDRA logo, she says she is a fertility Doctor. That will help along a few theories out there I think

- Tumor on the spine, I bet anything its Ben (but also possibly another part of the Con to make Jack join them)

- Just like Walt and Locke, now Desmond has predicted the rain, and not only that, he built a lightning rod and saved Aaron.

- Rain comes, bad stuff happens. This time, Desmond stopped it.

- Unit 23C thats where the $ is...

- Another ISLAND!!! HOLY CRAP!!! The first thing I thought of was the Blast Door Map overlayed onto Rousseau's maps and this was there the entire time, just no other Island on her map - it was on the Blast Door Map right where its supposed to be!!

- "You're pretty good, Sawyer - we're alot better" - Understatement of the Season right there.

- Charlie says to Locke "so you've been gone for a whole day, after a massive Hatch detonation. You don't call, you don't write" - two things of note here: Locke, Eko, and Desmond have been missing for a whole day. And that last part of the line was the same thing Charlie said to Eko when he found him in the Hatch - so Charlie said the line to Eko in Locke's Hatch, and to Locke in Eko's Church. Interesting.

- the parachute that Charlie is tying up is not Henry Gale's balloon. No big smiley face in the middle. This is quite possibly the chute from the food drop.

- Nice shoutout to "Altered States" - Charlie to Locke "you're gonna go into your little magic hut, and I'm gonna stand out here in case you devolve into a monkey"

- The Airport Dream Sequence: "John, someone in this airport is in some serious danger. You are the only one who can save them"

Charlie, Claire, and baby Aaron are seen looking like a happily married couple - "Not them, they'll be fine, for a while"

Sayid, Sun, and Jin are seen waiting in line - "I think Sayid's got it"

Hurley is seen as a ticket agent, entering the Numbers into the computer - "Not Hurley"

Desmond is seen as what I think is a Pilot with 3 female flight attendants - "Forget it, he's helping himself"

- I've seen it mentioned elsewhere, and I'd like to agree that if the Hatch imploded as it appears it did, the 3 who survived would've been crushed. I think they were taken out of there by someone or something right before the implosion. Where Locke and Eko were "taken" to remains to be seen (they WERE gone a whole day), but I really think somehow Desmond remotely viewed the future; not very far into the future but far enough to realize what was happening when the Deja Vu started. Cause there's no way they would've gotten out of this alive:

- getting any kind of clear shot of the Polar Bear chasing Locke and Charlie is damn near impossible. The FX dept did a good job blurring the frames so you can't see how crappy the bear looks when it moves

- so Locke finds out that "the guy they had in the Hatch, Henry" is the leader of the Others. YAY for Hurley being smart and telling Locke what happened instead of keeping the details to himself (like they usually do....um....oh yeah, we found another hatch, and it was a medical station and there were fake beards and costumes and stuff....)

- "Polar Bears are like the Einsteins of the Bear Community" says Charlie. So DHARMA liked working with intelligent animals (Juliet mentioned Dolphins as well)

- HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Charlie's little comment about Locke and the hairspray was great!! - and again....HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Hurley hears a rustling in the jungle and he calls out "Bear? Is that you?"

- Nice. We got our badass Locke back

- now in the caves, it looks like there are many bones, human and animal.

A toy truck that seems very out of place...

And the DHARMA Pearl logo is seen on what looks like a burlap sack

next to which is a very odd looking skull....it just doesn't look right to me for some reason, human, but not.....

- "if you had this magic key the whole time, how come you didn't, um, use it?" - good question Hurley. I like Hurley. He seems to be the one of the only ones who knows how to use his head. "Because I didnt know what would happen" - good reply, Desmond, but someone who is alot smarter than anyone there once said "From the dawn of our species, man has been blessed with curiosity".

- Desmond didnt experience the humming and the lights when the failsafe key was turned. This makes me think even more that he was "teleported" into the near future by someone or something. He also seems to be confused as to what happened at first. He mentions Locke's speech in such a "matter-of-fact" way that when Hurley questions it, Desmond just claims he's "a little shook up" - but I think this is when it clicks in his head what happened to him.

- 2 weeks in a row now we've seen one of the Losties confronted with whether or not to shoot someone. Last week it was Sun and Colleen, this week it was Locke and Eddie. Both Colleen and Eddie say practically the same thing to their assailant "you're not going to shoot me. You're not a murderer. You're a good man/person" - But Sun shot, while Locke did not.

- Locke speaks to the Island and asks for forgiveness, and it replies through Eko "you can still save them. After all, you are a hunter, John"

S3E03 "Further Instructions"

Most excellent Episode! :)
YAY!! We've got our S1 badass Locke back!! And the twist at the end with "Locke's Speech" and Desmond was INSANE!!! We'll be talkin about that one for quite some time I think.

Now onto some First View Episode Notes:

- we open with the Locke Eye shot (guess what my new avvy is gonna be? ) VERY remniscent of the beginning of the show in "Pilot (Part 1)" with the Jack Eye shot.

- looks like Charlie got a haircut

- no FB in the intro. I didnt think the FBs were all that great tonight. I was really thinkin maybe Eddie was gonna shoot him, causing his paralysis, but that's still a story for another day I suppose

- Locke wants to "speak to the Island" - YES!!! S1 Badass Locke is BAAAAAACK!!!!

- "Did you rob a bank?" - " 'Fraid so" - looking back on this scene knowing Eddie is a cop....puts quite a different spin on it, not necessarily the line, but the scene where Locke is pulled over.

- I swear I saw "Johnathan Locke" (or at least Johnathan - my bro's name is Jonathan, so I saw the "H" right away - jumped off the page.) I wonder if we're lookin at S3's version of "Jin's Resume"

- "So you can bring the family back together" - what was Boone referring to? Saving the Losties?

- as Boone wheels Locke around, it seems like he tells the future of each person Locke sees. I couldnt write fast enough to get them all, but details will be in tomorrows addendum notes and caps for sure

- "nothing you can do for them. Not yet" - so Locke IS eventually gonna be able to save Jack, Kate, and Sawyer from the Others....YES!!

- I will post a cap of an excellent shot of Locke driving into his little community - the trees were awesome!! I'd love to know where that was filmed.

- Wow....the Swan Hatch IMPLODED. Thats another cap I'll be sure to include later

- (when Locke throws the knife) Hurley: "Dude" - quite possibly the best use of that word I've ever seen!!

- interesting....a beat up old toy truck in the Polar Bear's cave....and I'm pretty sure I saw a Dharma logo....the Pearl I think it was....

- OMG....Locke's community grows WEED!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Eddie thought bombs at first...as soon as he said that, I was like "dude, the fertilizer...come on now....look at the hippie tent for meditation - they're growing POT!! LOL!!"

- that Polar Bear looked excessively PISSED OFF. I get the feeling the Others weren't very nice to the Polar Bears when they had them in captivity. This one tonight seemed overly aggressive.

- interesting, so Desmond says perhaps turning the key "detonated the electromagnetic anomoly" - but in doing so, might have taken him into the future and shown him Locke's speech. This could somehow explain his lack of clothes...when he was returned to the present time, they were destroyed.

- "You will find them. After all, you are a hunter" - yet another example of the Islands ability to see into the heads of the Losties. This reminded me alot of Sawyer being "possessed" by Wayne in "What Kate Did".

- and what can I say...Locke's speech.....I guess once again, Hurley has come up with the most appropriate time to use this word....."WHOAH". The same thing that just tweaked in his brain just tweaked in mine (and I'll bet a bunch of you too )

S3E02 "The Glass Ballerina" - Addendum Notes/Caps

Time for some addendum notes and screencaps :)

- the breaking of the ballerina and the lie that follows is a great foreshadowing to what we see from Sun in this episode, ie - Dark Sun

- its been over a day since Sayid lit the fire/smoke signal for J-S-K

- here's the last shot of Danielle's Map that we're gonna get for a while (if not ever). It shows Sayid marking the area where the Pala Ferry Docks are -

- "I can help you sail the boat" says Sun. Did she pick it up from Jin? Or has she had sailing experience that Jin doesn't know about? Hmmm...

- I agree that Kelvin kept the discovery of Desmond's wrecked boat a secret from both Desmond AND the Others; and that's why Ben doesn't know about it. They knew what was going on in the Swan Hatch though. Tom hinted that they knew the Losties had gone into the Swan when he said "opening doors to rooms you got no business opening"

- sounded to me like Colleen called Pickett "Denny", coulda been "Danny" too

- the Galaga - well I know I heard it last night, but as I'm watchin it now, the audio quality is reduced and I can't make out what Colleen says to Pickett about the boat.

- how many of yal went WHOAH!! when the camera panned back from Sun lying in bed and JAE sat up next to her! I only say this cause I think thats the effect they were goin for with this shot - Jae sits up really fast instead of slowly sitting up and coming into clear view. Props to Paul Edwards, director, for pullin off a great shot

- there is indeed a motor on the Elizabeth. Why else have a gas can? Sayid uses one to start the signal fire at the Pala Ferry beach, and Sun is seen with another one after Sayid empties the first one.

- after a closer look at the work field, it looks like they're clearing a specific area - they're marking it with yellow flags on sticks and white ties on ropes all over the borders. I wonder why they're clearing such a large area.

- this is the closest shot we get to seeing the Plans for whatever the Others are going to construct in this area that they're clearing out and marking -

- if the Others aren't DHARMA, why do all of their products bear the DHARMA logo in some way? Seen again here is the logo that we saw on the shark on Juliet's canteen.

- here's a gratuitous shot of Kate digging....again, Thank You TPTB :)

- Sawyer's fight - first he decks Pickett and takes the gun, then turns around and smacks the pretty-boy that was talkin to Juliet right in the face with the butt of the rifle. Then a large man with a moustache tries to shock Sawyer, but Sawyer takes the taser and tries to shock him. But the safety is on (this is how he knows this later), and Sawyer gets punched in the mouth by the big guy. Sawyer does the roll around on the ground to stance with the gun, but its too late, Juliet already has Kate at gunpoint.

- Colleen says there are 5 of her friends on board. So they took a raiding party of 6, including Colleen and Tom. And this guy -

- "I'm told he jumped from a balcony" says Mr. Paik to Sun. That sure sounds like he had a hand in it if you ask me. (oh well...TPTB later confirm in the podcast that Jae did indeed jump)

- here are some caps of Ben's viewing room -

- today is November 29 (note - no year given), the survivors of flight 815 have been on the Island 69 days - finally given confirmation on the date and duration.

- I don't think that whatever Ben is gonna eventually ask Jack to do in exchange for freedom is gonna be a very easy decision for Jack to make. Why do I get the feeling its gonna involve someone dying....

S3E02 "The Glass Ballerina"

WOW. As previously stated, that was simply AWESOME!!
Now for some first round notes
Here we go:

- opening shot of the Glass Ballerina - beautiful. This FB begins to show us a side of Sun we haven't seen yet. Dark Sun.

- YES!!!! THE MAP!!! We see Sayid make a marking, I'm guessing its the fake camp, about midway up the western coast. Yung....go get em

- We see Benry's viewing room in the Hydra, looks pretty much like the Pearl, just observing J-S-K in their respective locations at the Hydra instead

- "Am I interrupting something?" (said by Colleen to Benry and Juliet) - "You never made soup for me" (said by Benry to Juliet) - both indications that Benry and Juliet were once a couple

- So they WANTED Sayid to find the fake camp? These Others are very smart and seem to have a very precise plan in place, and also have the ability to adapt the plan to any situation they encounter. Like "I want that boat" - Benry doesn't want the boat cause he needs it, he wants it cause he can use it as a lure, a temptation for one of his capitves

- Mr. Paik was just awesome in this episode. We haven't really seen much of him so far, and tonight was a great look at his character. Very sinister. I wonder who his boss is?

- it appears that Pala Ferry is more north on the Map then the fake village

- excuse me while I be a guy....SQUEEEEEE!!! KATE DIGGING!!! Thank you TPTB :D

- Alex seemed pretty concerned about Karl. She also seemed to know something about who was supposed to be in what cage.....hmmm....

- I can't wait to get caps to see how many other "workers" the others had. Who were they? The tailies they took?

- Sayid's plan: Take 2 of them. One to make the other cooperate. Nice.

- Jin seemed to be able to handle a gun pretty well, that was a surprise.

- Juliet is perfect for Benry; you can't read her at all. She seems like she's gonna be the one that betrays the Others and helps at least one of the captives escape, but when she pulled that gun on Kate, she looked like she woulda done it had Sawyer tried anything.

- Jae jumping was quite a shocker. Now we have the potential future FB of Sun thinkin that Jin threw Jae from the window....

- Colleen knew Sun's full name. They've obviously gotten info on all of the Losties and are using it to their advantage. To what end, well thats the real mystery now, isn't it?

- OMG HOLY CRAP!!! Sun SHOT Colleen!!! Now THERE'S a side of Sun we've never seen - a KILLER!!! Just WOW.

- oh well, the Others got the "Elizabeth"....oh crap....now that means they have Sayid/Danielle's maps too. I hope Sayid draws up another one, or else the shots we got tonight were the last we'll see of those maps.....

- "You taste like.....strawberries".....hehehehe....."You taste like.....FISH BISCUITS!!!!" YAY!!!! I can bring two of my friends!!!

- Nice. And Benry is watching Sawyer and Kate try to plot. I can see how the next 2 weeks are gonna be unpleasant now....

- Ah. There we go. ANSWERS = BENJAMIN LINUS - lived on the Island all his life. They have contact with the outside world.

- I almost crapped myself when they wheeled that tv in though cause I thought this was gonna be the showing of the Alvar Hanso Orientation film that explains the meaning of the Numbers/the original purpose of DHARMA that was revealed in The Lost Experience. Oh well, there's still plenty of time for that.

We're off to a GREAT start IMO folks.
And its only gonna get crazier from here.

S3E01 "A Tale of Two Cities" - Addendum Notes/Caps

The following are my Addendum Episode Notes and Screencaps for this episode:

- during the "previously on LOST" segment, Benry says "You're coming with us" which sounds a little more malicious than what he actually said in "Live Together, Die Alone" which was "You're friends are coming home with us"

- Juliet selects the Talking Heads "Speaking in Tongues" from her CD collection, but thats not what plays when she puts it in the CD player; instead its "Downtown" by a female singer (sounds like the early 70s)

- the whole Others village looked so normal, I couldn't tell if I was looking at a FB in the outside world or not. I thought we might be seeing some off Island background to this new Other, Juliet (possibly a connection to one of the Losties). I mean, look how "normal" this looks - never would've suspected this place to be on our Island -

- "here I am thinking that free will still actually exists on..." said Juliet to Adam right before the shaking started. I would love to know what words she would've used to finish that sentence. "Our Island", "the Island", "HIS Island", or something else??

- when Benry came out of his house, he immediately began to look up. I think they knew a plane was gonna crash, but they didn't know exactly when (through Remote Viewing). Thats why they were still prepared to spring into action when they realized it was happening. This shot is one of my favorites EVER on LOST -

- In the first FB, Jack's pager reads 7:15:23 AM, and there is also a completed crossword puzzle. Some words I see are: NecessaryEvils, Prenatal, Raft, Heroes, Boom, Poe, Required..., Essential..., Vital Statistics, Ella

- when Jack decides to scream for help, the first thing he does is yell for Kate...

- the soundboard in the control room for Jack's "cell" is quite complex looking for something that just operates a single speaker PA system/bullhorn

- Kate's nice dress is in Locker #841

- "I wanted to give you something nice to hold on to. Because, Kate, the next two weeks are going to be very unpleasant" - what a great line, delivered impeccably by Benry. Mike Emerson is such an amazing actor.

- here are some of the larger cages that Sawyer runs past while attempting to escape -

- Christian's hospital jacket says "C. Shephard, M.D. Chief of Surgery"; so it looks like after he went and got help for his drinking the first time, the hospital didn't take his license away

- The Dharma logos on food products: The ones dropped at the Swan all had the Swan logo on them, while all the products seen at the Hydra are just the bagua with a black circle and the word Dharma written in white in the middle.

- Juliet is good at dodging questions. For example, Jack: "That button, what's it for?", Juliet: "its for emergencies". Jack: "who's watching me?", Juliet: "are you going to sit against the wall so I can open the door?" Nice. Answer a question with a question. Isn't that a psychologists trick? And the best one she just stares and walks away..."what the hell is going on here??"

- Doesn't this just make you hungry?

- The HYDRA, the underwater zoological Dharma station, where the study of sharks, dolphins, and polar bears (at least) took place. So now we have: The Swan, The Pearl, The Flame (we havent seen this one yet), The Cauduceus (or Staff), The Arrow (even though we only saw a bunker for it), and The Hydra. That looks like all of the 6 original Dharma stations to me. Now to figure out what each was originally intended for and how this current incarnation of the Dharma Initiative has changed them....

- The Others are indeed the remnants of the Dharma Initiative, although it seems apparent that the original intent of it was abandoned for something else. Jack: "So you people are just whatevers left over of them?" Juliet: "Well, that was a long time ago. It doesn't matter who we were, it only matters who we are."

- "What would you like to find out?" yet another blown opportunity by Jack. I would've asked again and again, Where Am I? and What the hell is going on here?

- so it looks like Jack's accusations of his father sleeping with his wife was the final blow that got Christian to break down and drink again.

- and once again, Benry steals the show with a look....

S3E01 "A Tale of Two Cities"

Wow. That was FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!

Here are my notes for this episode:

- Nice Eye Shot to open felt very much like the opener for S2 with the music and the chores then all of a sudden BAM!!! But last time it was the Hatch door blown open, this time, it was the EMP and Flight 815 crashing

- That was hands down the coolest intro I have ever seen. I thought "The Other 48 Days" was badass...but this....this....HOLY CRAP!!! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!

- Jack's car radio was playing "Moonlight Serenade" in the first FB - this is the same song that Sayid and Hurley got on the tranciever that one night

- Blood was taken from all 3 captives

- Kate in the shower......wet Kate......'nuff said

- "The next two weeks are going to be unpleasant" - yes, I agree, that sounds like our 6 episode mini season to me.

- Did Jack imagine the intercom repeating Christian's voice from the past saying "let it go", or did it really happen? (somehow)

- "What the hell is going on here?" - good Jack. Finally an intelligent question!! Too bad you didnt get an answer....yet

- There were big zoo like cages all over the place as Sawyer attempted escape

- How did Sawyer know Karl's name?? Must've been a scene they cut (for some reason...???)

- definite tension between Juliet and Benry....I like it

- confirmation that the current group of Dharma is responsible for the Polar Bears when Tom tells Sawyer that it only took the Bears 2 hours to figure out the Skinner Box (though he doesn't refer to it as such)

- Nice, and aquarium for the Dharma Sharks. AND Dolphins - now there are TONS of possibilities here cause dolphins are very intelligent creatures...

- THE HYDRA!!! THE UNDERWATER STATION!!! FINALLY!!! CONFIRMATION!!! I cannot tell yal how long I have been waiting for this. Oooh, I am gonna have me some fun with them Maps now....

- So now the question is - How did they get their info on Jack?
